Getting used to Dublin

After have been living in Dublin since the beginning of February I get used to the special Irish and Dublin features time after time. Well as I am German some things are really difficult to get used to, as the beer for example is much more expensive here than there, actually almost every kind of alcohol. But ok maybe good in some way. By the way the Guiness not really met my taste... And yeah I am missing some German supermarket products, but now with Aldi und Lidl in Dublin its quite ok as far as they are some ones. And some of the Irish products are good as well:-). And as I was living in a 3,000 inhabitants village in Germany before there is much more going on here in Irelands capitol. For sure I will never have problem to find a cool pub. Also the clubs are nice. Only a little bit strange for foreigners that pubs and clubs close so relatively early at night. But at least you come home more or less early at the weekend and come out of bed not so late the next day. Unfortunately the sun does not want to shine here so very often, so sometimes everything is looking a little bit grey. But with a little bit of sun it is really a beautiful city. Besides all the famous sights and cultural buildings like Trinity College, Daniel O’Connell Monument, Dublin Castle etc. for me the city has its very own likely charm. Especially in the city centre with the shopping streets, all the busy people walking fast on the streets and especially all the lights and pubs at night as in Temple Barr for example. That’s really cool and amazing again every time I see it at night. Well that is the impression from whole Ireland until now because up to this time I did not manage to visit other parts of the country. But I am lucky to coming up with this on the Easter holidays. So some stuff for new impressions and some nice pictures I guess...
